This map of the Upper Bolin Creek shows existing bikeways in blue and planned bikeways in green.  Number 5 is the campus to campus connector recently selected as the optimum route by UNC and Town staff with community input.  That route will connect with Estes Drive and an off-road bike lane along Seawell School Road to provide good north-south mobility.  East- west connectivity is established by the planned UNC trail from Tripp Farm Road to Seawell School Road and also will offer level terrain for handicapped access to Bolin Creek.  Number 1 at the bottom of the map makes a needed off-road bicycle connection to avoid a difficult portion of Estes Drive Extension.
